I came to performing fairly late in life although I have had a romance with the profession since high school. I was the student director of the junior and senior shows. I was directing because I did not have the courage to do the acting. I was quite in the throws of loser thinking, then. In the intervening years, I have done quite a bit of work on me so at this point in my life, I am able to audition and perform without a tinge of trepidation. I am having fun! I even sing and people applaud! Imagine that!
